Last Night in Soho (2021).

A refreshing new addition to horror genre this film was both breathtaking and dazzling at the same time. A unique film with the touch of life in 60s London. Amazing performance by Thomasin McKenzie, Anya Taylor-Joy, Matt Smith and Diana Rigg. Last performance of the evergreen Diana Rigg before her sad demise and she certainly did great. Beautiful story with somewhat mediocre narration but cinematography and acting performance was top notch. A must watch.

The Suicide Squad (2021).

Just watched another great edition to DCEU. Far better from the original this dark-comedy is a true emotional rollercoaster. Amazing performance by Margot Robbie, Idris Alba, John Cena etc. As expected another brilliant film by James Gunn. However the story telling was rather insignificant and morose. Still entertaining and engaging from top to bottom.

Downton Abbey (2010-15).

Just watched one of the sweetest show I've ever seen. An amazing story about the chronicles of the lives of British aristocratic Crawley family and their servants in Downton Abbey of Grantham, Yorkshire, England, UK, in 1920s. A beautiful show with many tragadies and a sweet and wholesome ending.

The Good Doctor [Season1-4] (2017-21).

Just watched one of the best medical drama in recent time. A story about a young surgeon with ASD and Savant Syndrome and his life while studying in St  Bonaventure hospital where he faces many problems for his lack of communication skills but he counters them with his genius level intellect, knowledge and pure innocence. Outstanding performance by Freddy Highmore in the role of Dr Shaun Murphy. Also great performance by other actors. A truly engaging and educational realistic medical drama.

Dexter (2006-2013).

Just watched one of the best psychological thriller shows of all time. A story about a blood spatter analyst in Miami Metro Police Department who also kills criminals and murderers at night. Outstanding performance by Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, John Lithgo, Julie Benz, David Zayas, etc. A n amazing show with a terrible ending. Hopefully the upcoming spinoff will fix the ending to a point.

Gotham (2014-19).

Just watched one of the most entertaining tv-series I've seen in a long time. A different, non-canon, but amazing adaption of comic world of Gotham before Batman ever came. A even darker, gore, psychological approach in the dark worlds of Gotham. Many character arks even after being far different from their comic origins felt surreal, and maybe even more interesting, some got changed a bit too much. Story of most of the pre- Batman supervillains and the saviors of Gotham James Gordon and his partner Harvey Bullock was breathtaking. One of the better series I've seen in recent time.

Parks and Recreation (2009-2015).

Just watched one of the best mockumentaries out there about life of government workers. One of the most realistic shows out there after The Office. Outstanding performance by every single person of the cast, especially Amy Poehler. An amazing show with one of the most beautiful and heart-touching endings. It has now become one of the my all-time favorite shows.

The Originals (2013-18).

Just watched one of the if not the best supernatural-fantasy web series ever. An outstanding story about the family of the Original Vampires and their love and dedication for their family. A story about sibling's love for each other and a hunger of power that stands in between. A pact of being together Always and Forever and problems it faces. A true family drama with many outstanding supernatural twists. It's been a glorious ride to see one of the most amazing shows.

The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017).-

Just completed watching one of the most epic fictional story ever told on tv. A beautiful story full of love hatred, supernaturals, myth, blood, pain, sacrifice and above all heart touching friendship. Outstanding performance by the actors and amazing screenplay. It's been a hell of 12 days and one of the best things I've watched in a long time.

Ray (2021)

Four completely different but amazing short stories of Satyajit Ray adapted in a modern and different manner. Some of them were extremely good some didn't complete with the expectations. For me 2nd part starting Kay Kay Menon and 3rd part starting Manoj Bajpayee were the best though though the 1st part starring Ali Fazal was also really good, the 4th part starring Harshvardhan Kapoor didn't live up to my expectations. Overall really great but different and controversial adaptations of Ray's works but enjoyable.

Boyka : Undisputed IV (2016).

Boyka : Undisputed IV (2016). Just revisited one of the most complete action movies of recent times. And in my opinion Scott Adkins in one of the very few complete action heroes of today. From insane fist fights to kick boxing to gun-fight it had every aspect of action in it. Amazing performance by Scott Adkins, Teodora Duhovnikova, Alan Aboutboul, Brahim Chab, Paul Chadidi etc. One of my favorites

Newton (2017)

Just rewatched one of my favorite films of recent time and one of the best performance by Rajkumar Rao. A thrilling story about a vote presiding officer doing his best to conduct a proper and fair vote in booth in Dandakaranya jungle which is infested with maoists and facing countless problems. Amazing satirical comedy-drama which highlights mentality problems that India suffers during vote. A very education and entertaining film. Amazing performance by Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Anjali Patil, Raghuvir Yadav etc. A treat to watch.

A true metaphorical classic.

Monpura (2009).

Just rewatched one of the underrated classics of Bangladesh. A beautiful story about, when a landlord's son commits a murder, his servant takes the blame and gets marooned to the island Monpura where he falls in love with the local fisherman's daughter. Amazing story, screenplay, direction by Giasuddin Selim. Fabulous songs and soundtrack. A story about love, pain and purity. Wonderful performance by Chanchal Chowdhury, Farhana Mili, Fazlur Rahman Babu etc. One of my favorite movies from childhood.

Das Leben der Anderen [The Lives of Others] (2006).

Just rewatched one of the better films of 2000s. An amazing story about In 1984 East Berlin, an agent of GDR's Stasi (secret police), conducting a surveillance on a writer and his lover, finds himself increasingly absorbed by their lives. A Beautiful story full of suspence and emotion. Wonderful acting performance by Ulrich Mühe, Martina Gedeck, Sebastian Koch, Ulrich Tukur, Thomas Thieme, Hans-Uwe Bauer, Volkmar Kleinert. A story full of emotion, love death, war and with twists after twists. Wonderful work by Dennis Villeneuve, it's probably his best creation. Fantastic performance by Lubna Azabal, Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin, Maxim Gaudette, Rémy Girard, etc. From story to Screenplay to acting everything is exceptional. A must watch for me.

The Intouchables (2011)

Just rewatched one of the best non-english film I've seen in recent time. An amazing story about a wealthy aristocrat, who after becoming quadriplegic from a paragliding accident hires a troubsome but kind young man as a caregiver. Outstanding autobiography story by Philippe Pozzo de Borgo. Fantastic performance by Fançois Cluzet and Omar Sy. Also great performance by Anne Le Ny, Audrey Fleurot, Grégoire Oesterman, Thomas Solivérès etc. A heart-touching story with heartwarming ending. One of the greatest French film of all time.
